Preparation Instructions
Ultrasound
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
- For abdominal ultrasound: Fast for 8 hours before exam
- For pelvic ultrasound: Drink 32 oz of water 1 hour before exam
- Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in
Mammography
- Schedule for week after menstrual period
- Do not use deodorant, powder, or lotion on chest area
- Wear two-piece outfit for easy changing
- Bring previous mammograms if from another facility
Nuclear Medicine
- Follow specific preparation instructions provided
- Inform staff of all medications you are taking
- Arrive on time as radioactive material is time-sensitive
- Plan for extended visit time (2-4 hours for some exams)
Cardiac Testing
- Follow medication instructions carefully
- No caffeine 24 hours before stress testing
- Wear comfortable walking shoes
- Bring list of current medications

• Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to complete check-in
• Bring a valid health card and photo ID
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at least 24 hours in advance
